On the right track with Centrum

Do you watch what you eat? Until now, keeping track of what goes in our body in terms of our daily meals is still an alien concept to many — most often attributed only to the health conscious. Centrum says that you have to eat right, right now. Yesterday at the Mind Museum in The Fort, Global City, the leading world provider of multivitamins launched their new revolutionary tool that aids in making everything count — literally. GMA 7’s new leading man Mikael Daez led the Nutri-Coach Team to spearhead the demo of this online tool. In an awesome stage setup, the unveiling of the health component from Centrum was successfully introduced with the help of clinical dietitian, Pamela Aclan. The wonders of the new Centrum Nutri-Coach allows you to input exactly what you ate from a variety of food choices that can even go the breadth of including Filipino favorites like inihaw na pork chop and halo halo into a “virtual” plate. It also takes into consideration other traditional components of health and nutrition like levels of physical activities and age.

Get Your Cotton On

Back in the 90s, Missy Elliot commanded: "Get your freak on." But, that was another time. Now, it is time to Cotton On. Born in Australia, but it blossomed in in the equally casual and cool shores of LA, Cotton On is a brand that combines easy basics and on-trend pieces. The spirit of the show was summed up by the infectious, boundless energy of the dancers and a banner that read Cotton On Class of 2012; rather than evoking the stress of midterm exams and other academic requirements, the feel was more of the camaraderie and carefree feel of school days.

The first Cotton On shop in the Philippines opened in SM Mall of Asia, and the second is in SM Megamall. In both openings, after the bright and bouncy show directed by the one and only Robby Carmona.

Popular pieces were the skinny leather trousers and sheer tops (seen snapped up by Lovi Poe), and the university jackets (Joseph Marco got one for himself) and the coloured chinos (Enchong Dee's personal picks).
