Young adults choose to flow their best with Wilkins Pure

Growing up is not an always easy. It can be tough especially when you're in the stage where you're struggling to see where you truly belong. Young adults who are on this stage, still seek the advice and guidance of others because they want to be reassured that they are heading towards the right directions.
When the makers of Wilkins Distilled, the country’s most trusted water brand by moms, recently re-launched Wilkins Pure purified water with a new tagline ‘Choose to flow your best,’ the brand sets to inspire and encourage these young bloods to be the best they can be through the choices that they make. This starts with the water that they drink as hydration always plays a key role in keeping one’s body and mind in condition.
With Wilkins Pure, young adults are assured of the quality and safety of their drinking water, which goes through a certified world class purification process, helping them stay refreshed, focused, active and healthy as they take on the tides and decide how they set the course of their futures.
“Being in my best and healthiest is important to me especially because I am a student, a DJ and an aspiring model, all in one. That’s why I choose to say no to limitations and fears, because I know the best doesn’t come from staying inside the comfort zone.” – Jodilly Pendre, 23, international model and Asia’s Next Top Model Season 2 first runner-up.

"I'm lucky enough to be able to do what I love the most...[but making] choices is never easy especially when I need to choose between balancing out time and responsibilities as an entrepreneur and my passion for active sports and being an avid wakeboarder... still I choose to learn and grow for my future even when I make a few wrong turns... ” – Carlo Gonzales, 24, fitness enthusiast.

“[It’s] hard when I make choices since I based my decision for the long run and not the short-term. It takes getting used to…but I choose to try [and keep trying] until I achieve success in my career. Simply giving up is not an option for me!” – Tola Orendain, 23, marketing associate and model
"I choose to see possibilities that help me see through difficult situations because keeping an opened mind makes me see that anything is possible especially when someone tells me I can’t go places.” – Hans Weiser, 23, Brazilian model
"Mistakes and flaws are part of growth. It’s okay not to follow the plans from A to B, but what’s most important is the drive to actually see through the end of your dreams. That’s why I do what I can and choose to be positive with making the right decisions." – Hye Won Jang, 24, model, blogger and digital influencer
"When you travel a lot, you need to be careful with decisions especially when you’re in a unfamiliar or foreign ground and meeting new people. But what’s nice about traveling back to the places you’ve been is having a warm welcome…what’s even nicer though is having people you love and care about support and help you through you no matter whenever and wherever you are. That’s why I make sure I choose true friends who I know will be there for me no matter what.”– Daniel Diniz, 26, Brazilian model
"In life you need to be focused and to be more determined to do what you want. That’s why I choose to take on challenges so I can be stronger with each one I face...” – Jasmine Maierhofer, 24, supermodel
"As a model and an influencer, people look up to me. That’s why I always push myself to be my best because I believe we can do better every time. But taking care of yourself is always the first step to achieving that…One of the things you can do is drinking safe purified water as it helps replenish you and make you feel good from within. And if you feel good, you look good. If you look good, you win! That’s why I choose to flow my best in everything with Wilkins Pure. ” – LA Aguinaldo, 23, SM Youth member and social media influencer

And as  The Coca-Cola Company is an advocate of saving the environment, the company now provides Wilkins Pure in even more environmentally-friendly PET bottles to reduce the carbon footprint of all its products. Approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) and the Philippines Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for food application, the new PET bottles of Wilkins Pure uses 24 percent less plastic than previous and is therefore safer (and lighter).

With every day that comes, new opportunities arise. So remember to make the right choices and choose the ones that will lead you to flow your best with Wilkins Pure purified water.

Coca-Cola Christmas Concert brings joy to Taga-hatid Pasko Pinoys this season

It's really a heartwarming feeling when someone shows you they appreciate you, but I think it's even more gratifying when you make someone feel special by showing that you appreciate them too. That's why I had such a fun time when Coca-Cola, the world's largest beverage company, hosted the Coca-Cola Christmas Concert at SM MoA concert grounds last December 3, 2016.

It was really a site to see as the event which was made public triggered so many smiles and happy faces (including my own) as they enjoyed many on-ground activities like the Coca-Cola Santa and Snow land stations, Coke tattoo booths, Coke karaoke booths, and the artistic 5by20 Women Artisan booth where you can check out and purchase cool hand-made crafts and items to give to your loved ones.

But most importantly, visitors took the opportunity to dedicate this festive occasion to their everyday heroes (or 'unsung' heroes as others say) who made sure that Christmas happens for everyone.

Excitement filled the air as everyone got to see some of the country’s hottest stars and Ambassadors of Coca-Cola such as Nadine Lustre, James Reid, Bailey May, Ylona Garcia, Enchong Dee, and experience them live along with OPM legends Rico Blanco, Gloc-9, Callalily and Sandwich.

Local celebrities like Diego Loyzaga, Alexa Ilacad, and favorite local music performers Darren Espanto and the handsome bunch of Gimme 5 graced the event too!

What’s more, lucky guests and as well as several employees of Coca-Cola partners such as the Rotary Club, 7-Eleven, Shell, Select, Grab, VXI, Mini Stop, Coca-Cola 5 by 20, Shakey’s, MMDA, Djarn Manpower, Sentinel, Tropical Hut and Pasay City, who were nominated as Taga-hatid Pasko heroes also received special rewards and Coca-Cola goodies.

And that’s not all what Coca-Cola has in store for us this season as the company will also extend its Christmas spirit to those everyday heroes who work in gas stations, MRT and LRT stations, fast food chains, grocery stores, malls and airports around Metro Manila by surprising them with Coca-Cola goodies to bring home for themselves and their families.

“This Christmas, Coca-Cola wants to put the spotlight on the people who makes us feel the magic of
Christmas or who we call as #TagahatidPasko or ‘bringers of Christmas’. We want to inspire people to recognize and show their appreciation for these people we rarely say thank you to.  After all, the true spirit of Christmas is taking a moment in expressing gratitude to all of your loved ones and to those who make your Christmas happen, not only in December, but every day of the year. Made even more special with an ice-cold bottle of Coca-Cola, of course.”, said Coca-Cola Philippines Vice-President for Marketing Stephan Czypionka.

Coca-Cola continues to make the Christmas spirit shine for all with all its exciting activities this December.

Don’t forget to celebrate this festive season with your family, friends, and show your bringer of Christmas a heart-felt holiday cheer with an ice-cold Coca-Cola!

It's the classic Coca-Cola Christmas Truck! I'm getting the Christmas feels already

This screen area is such a great idea to show your appreciation to your everyday heroes. It's like you're letting everyone know just how much they make your Christmases special

Cebu celebrates with Alden Richards at Convergys YOUNIVERSE

Cebu was packed with much energy and excitement when the Philippines' largest private employer, Convergys launched the Convergys YOUNIVERSE at Ayala Terraces in Cebu last October 18.
With its tagline create and celebrate, guests were encouraged to participate in many fun activities and even open their doors to opportunities as several booths were set up for willing applicants. Music was a big part of the event as well, with fantastic music performances from Cebu's homegrown talents DJ Nish and DJ LV, bands Pandora and Skankin Brews and even Up Dharma Down!
But the biggest highlight of the night (and I definitely think Cebuanos agree with me on this) was the arrival of the one and only Pambansang Bae Alden Richards at the event as he was the celebrated face of success of Convergys. Alden not only graced the event, but toured the sites and offices as well.
In an interview I've had with him, Alden remarked on his journey to success, “Of course there were times that I doubted.  But what would I have gained by quitting?  I like the feeling of challenging myself.”   With his story of hard work and perseverance, Alden truly exhibits the key essentials in achieving goals which Convergys team members also attribute to.
Convergys also proudly celebrated their dominance in Cebu with 8 sites, 13,000 employees, and counting. The company also announced that they would be hiring 2, 400 new employees this October to November.
Convergys President for Asia-Pacific Ivic Mueco, “Our extraordinary growth in Cebu over the last 12 years is due to our talented and dedicated employees who deliver excellent service for our clients’ customers. Cebu is a critical part of our Philippine operations, and we remain committed to continuing this growth and being an active partner in building our communities.”
Convergys Group Vice President of Operations Jojo Reyes added, “We are grateful for what we have achieved through the people of Cebu. We want to continue giving them the best opportunities by joining Convergys and growing in their careers; supporting global, top brands of every industry we support. Whether it is in telecommunications, technology, financial services, retail or healthcare – the choice is theirs.”
As growth is nurtured in Convergys, the company along with Alden continue to inspire and open new pathways to success for Filipinos, giving them hope and a chance for a future in their own YOUniverse.
