Who's the Boss?

First, I watched a TV ad with the cause of major fan-frenzy, RICHARD YAP or so-called Sir Chief of the phenomenal TV success "Please be Careful with my Heart." Now, look at this cute, light, TVC with one of the most visible, and "reliable" comedians in all of the entertainment scene, VIC SOTTO.

Bossing (fondly called by so many, and yeah, I too am guilty at times), was the newest to marvel at the advancement that is O+ 8.15 Android. And what better way to say that this is new "boss" of Android than to showcase its wonders with no less than the box-office regular.

Gleek Chic

Last June, the whole Philippines enjoyed a bit of a case of a Glee bug with the visit of the four new kids on the McKinley block. Becca Tobin, Melissa Benoist, Dean Geyer, and Jacob Artist, of the season 4 of Glee rocked the Ayala Malls with smiles that got the whole of the three different venues crazy with well, how else will you put it, GLEE! With Enchong, Joseph, Julia, and Kathryn, our four original Philippine Happiness Ambassadors, the Hollywood young stars made an unforgettable tour in celebration of the launch of the new Coca-Cola MISMO.

Fittingly, this is really a Flashback Friday as I got a copy of the September issue of CHALK where the three Gleeks are on the cover—reminding me Jacob, Becca, and Dean are all smiles at the magazine’s Fashion issue. Mark Nicdao took care of the photographs (spectacularly at that), while Pam Quinones and Sidney Yap made the styling extra Pinoy as they showcased posh Pinoy designs from M Barretto, Joey Samson, Rajo Laurel and Rhett Eala.

Fun and fashion combine and the cast of Glee are pure pictures of youthfulness and positivity that’s why the whole world fell in love with the show (duh?!). Grab your copies now, while it lasts!!

Ipanema Soul Search

I remember making a post last year about an Ipanema event I was invited to in Davao. This year closes the yearlong gap between their Urban Jungle campaign and this new one with a different sort of visual treat. At the Glorietta 2 Activity Center, we witnessed a soulsearching journey through music and movement with a gripping narrative of the new IPANEMA woman. The event was a culmination of the IPANEMA Soul Search raffle promo held until August 15!

Run Run Ironman!

If the ultradramatic viral videos aren't enough, it's that time of the year again when men and women of fiery passion for sports would converge to join the biggest event in all of triathlon (hyperboles aside, it's really big!!) This year, Shangri-La Mactan Resort in Cebu hosted over 2000 triathletes in the bout of the fittest at the Cobra Ironman Philippines 70.3.

And in occasions like this, the Timex family (whom I did an interview not so long ago) is always raring to show support. Starstudded as it was, the Ironman event in Cebu had a great turnout. Of course with the mix of personalities. Piolo Pascual, Tessa Prieto Valdes, Coach Ani de Leon-Brown and the Pangilinan family (headed by couple Anthony and Maricel).

This makes me excited to know where the next meet would be! If its in Palawan (I highly suggest!), then count me in!
