We have all been taught that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. So to keep you as bright and cheerful as the morning, even if it is way past dawn, Breakfast at Antonio's is the perfect road trip stop. En route to our weekend getaway, we left Makati at noon, so technically we were having our breakfast at two pm! The all white, lofty interiors call to mind a New York loft, but the large tables and deli on the side feels like a New England farmhouse. Best of both worlds: a chic, minimalist cool space, with all the comfort and warmth of a country home. The cool breeze and view of Taal Lake bring us back firmly home to Tagaytay.
Best finds: banana pecan jam, the pineapple passion fruit smoothie, all the breads and cookies.
