It's really a heartwarming feeling when someone shows you they appreciate you, but I think it's even more gratifying when you make someone feel special by showing that you appreciate them too. That's why I had such a fun time when Coca-Cola, the world's largest beverage company, hosted the Coca-Cola Christmas Concert at SM MoA concert grounds last December 3, 2016.
It was really a site to see as the event which was made public triggered so many smiles and happy faces (including my own) as they enjoyed many on-ground activities like the Coca-Cola Santa and Snow land stations, Coke tattoo booths, Coke karaoke booths, and the artistic 5by20 Women Artisan booth where you can check out and purchase cool hand-made crafts and items to give to your loved ones.
But most importantly, visitors took the opportunity to dedicate this festive occasion to their everyday heroes (or 'unsung' heroes as others say) who made sure that Christmas happens for everyone.
Excitement filled the air as everyone got to see some of the country’s hottest stars and Ambassadors of Coca-Cola such as Nadine Lustre, James Reid, Bailey May, Ylona Garcia, Enchong Dee, and experience them live along with OPM legends Rico Blanco, Gloc-9, Callalily and Sandwich.
Local celebrities like Diego Loyzaga, Alexa Ilacad, and favorite local music performers Darren Espanto and the handsome bunch of Gimme 5 graced the event too!
What’s more, lucky guests and as well as several employees of Coca-Cola partners such as the Rotary Club, 7-Eleven, Shell, Select, Grab, VXI, Mini Stop, Coca-Cola 5 by 20, Shakey’s, MMDA, Djarn Manpower, Sentinel, Tropical Hut and Pasay City, who were nominated as Taga-hatid Pasko heroes also received special rewards and Coca-Cola goodies.
And that’s not all what Coca-Cola has in store for us this season as the company will also extend its Christmas spirit to those everyday heroes who work in gas stations, MRT and LRT stations, fast food chains, grocery stores, malls and airports around Metro Manila by surprising them with Coca-Cola goodies to bring home for themselves and their families.
“This Christmas, Coca-Cola wants to put the spotlight on the people who makes us feel the magic of
Christmas or who we call as #TagahatidPasko or ‘bringers of Christmas’. We want to inspire people to recognize and show their appreciation for these people we rarely say thank you to. After all, the true spirit of Christmas is taking a moment in expressing gratitude to all of your loved ones and to those who make your Christmas happen, not only in December, but every day of the year. Made even more special with an ice-cold bottle of Coca-Cola, of course.”, said Coca-Cola Philippines Vice-President for Marketing Stephan Czypionka.
Coca-Cola continues to make the Christmas spirit shine for all with all its exciting activities this December.
Don’t forget to celebrate this festive season with your family, friends, and show your bringer of Christmas a heart-felt holiday cheer with an ice-cold Coca-Cola!
