As the old adage says, with age comes wisdom. So I’ve always been proud of my age, it’s a proof of how much I’ve been through in life, how much I’ve already learned. But growing up doesn’t have to mean growing old, right? I will always be young at heart. Which is why I really enjoyed the Coca-Cola Taste the Feeling Festival last Feb. 27, at Circuit Makati.
Every single moment was made special in this exciting event, as tons of teens, together with their friends and families, gathered to experience all sorts of feelings with everyone's favorite drink, Coca-Cola.
The event was huge with lots of on-ground activities inspired by different feelings. If you were feeling foodie or if you wanted to feel refreshed, there were food stalls, food trucks and Coke stations around the venue to provide you with some tasty and thirst quenching fills. There were also lots of realistic photowalls with all sorts of props set up if you were feeling wacky or if you wanted to take FUNtabulous selfie or groupie shots. (My favorite was the coloring photo wall because I got to unleash my inner artist! Yey!).
There were also digital interactive photo booths that allowed us to take pictures with all kinds of "feel-ters.” The pictures taken there were automatically uploaded online and printed out, ready to be taken home. Tattoo booths were also available for those who were feeling wild and in the mood for temporary tattoos or face paint! Talk about expressing yourself, right?
But I have to say, the real highlight of the event was when the Coca-Cola officials and some of our new Coca-Cola ambassadors -- Alden Richards, Enchong Dee, Janella Salvador, Bailey May and Ylona Garcia led the Coca-Cola parachute drop where Coca-Cola filled bottles skydived, leaving us all feeling WOW! Only Coca-Cola can come up with something as amazing as this! Teen stars Nash Aguas, Alexa Ilacad and Grae Fernandez were also there to add more fun to the show.
Everyone was already bursting with excitement as Coca-Cola filled the night with good music! Popular and talented OPM pop rock bands Up Dharma Down Sponge Cola, Autotelic, and Cheats, and some of the Philippines' hottest and in-demand DJs in the music industry -- DJ Nina and DJ Funk Avy – filled the night with good music and good vibes.
It was truly an unforgettable day, FULL of FEELINGS and FULL of LIFE. I really had so much fun bringing out the inner youth in me and I know a lot of people did, too. Thank you so much Coca-Cola for letting us #TastetheFeeling with you and for always making every moment extra special, by simply being there.

The Grand entrance to the Festival of Feels! I could already feel so much excitement! |
|
It's the Coca-Cola messenger from the heavens. Kidding! Though this giant Coke blimp did bring me so many Coke goodies. |
|
Nope, it's no bird or plane. It's a delicious fresh cool Coca-Cola bottle dropping from the sky! |
|
One of my favorite activities in the festival -- the coloring photowall! What can I say? It colors my world. |

This body paint looks so cute! I just HAD to get one, too. |
