There are too many people in our lives who make our everyday easier with their little good deeds – like the security guards who open doors for us, the janitors who always wish us a good day, the salesladies who patiently attend to our needs with their bright smiles, and other people like them who are very much underappreciated. They are so constant in their acts of kindness that we don’t even realize how incomplete our days would be without them.
We call them manong, manang, ate, kuya – but we never call them by their names, because we don’t know them. It’s a sad truth.
This new inspiring video from Coca-Cola reminds us how important it is to know a person’s name, especially when they are part of our daily lives. They deserve a big “thank you.” And the happiest thank you is the one with their name on it.
