Kisapmata Para sa Pagasa

PHOTOGRA.PH – a camera club composed of avid amateurs and prominent professional photographers – decided, in a snap, to put up “Kisapmata Para Sa Pag-Asa” – a photo exhibit scheduled to open on December 16, 2013 at the Duty Free Fiesta Mall Atrium.

Paris in Taguig

Yahoo! Paul in SM Aura open to everyone tomorrow, December 6, Friday!

A French breakfast without having to fly to Paris! Paul in SM Aura.

Paul's macaroon chocolate, vanilla, pistachio, raspberry. When I went to the counter to buy macarons, there were none left.

Chef Florabel Co-Yatco sweetly and so generously gave me her own chocolate macaron! I don't have a photo of the whole macaron since I had to bite it right away, and it was love at first bite! Thanks again, and now I know that it really takes a big heart to be a chef!
Quiche galore!

C'est bien!!!

San Se Local

All white is all right. When you live in a flat, you really feel like a local. We loved our SanSe (thanks to Marissa Buenaventura de Venecia y Tambunting pawnshop) flat's all white walls, industrial loft-like beams and best of all, the wrap around balcony. We had a view of the mini park below, a sliver of the beach and the mountains beyond. We got to have breakfast at home, experiment with some pintxos of our own and yes, do the laundry. Nothing like waking up to the clean fresh scent of newly washed cloths with a whiff of bracing sea air!

Entering the charming lobby.

Tiny elevator for the sexy guests.

Who did it? Sidney?

It's so beautiful and spacious!

Instagram moment

More Instagram moment (kanya-kanyang space)

Check out the balcony. Can you see the view or not?

The kitchen showcase.

Filipina beauties invaded San Se

Am I blocking the view?

Actually, there's a view of the beach but behind Sidney. Hahaha
San Se, we shall return!

Viaje de Comida en San Se

Let's start with...

Basics done right at Bar Martinez! Who knew red peppers, crab and other familiar tastes could be so freshly combined?

Hmm. Critique Critique

A pincho or pintxo is a small snack, typically eaten in bars, traditional in northern Spain and especially popular in the Basque country and Navarre.

Sarapeachy Prieto... Tortilla de patatas, Brochette, Patatas bravas, Bocadillo, Piquillo pepper.

Por favor señora, no puede balot!

La Vina! The best cheesecake in town! In Spain even! Creamy, cheesy, dreamy. As in we really dreamt of it, we made a last stop before we left SanSe!

According to one of the reviews on Trip Advisor: "Whether you consider yourself a cheesecake connoisseur, or just a food lover, the cheesecake at La Vina is something that you will remember long after the other memories of beautiful San Sebastian have faded. It's totally unique and the recipe is a closely guarded secret (so far). It's interesting to note that when we couldn't remember where La Vina was after our first visit there, almost every restaurant in San Sebastian knew where we meant, just by mentioning "cheesecake". It's famous, as it should be! Don't miss this culinary treat if you're in San Sebastian! YUM!"

I can see the secret kitchen.

Aside from their cheesecake, they're also known for their Canutillo de Queso y Anchoas.

Perfect nose señora!

Here we go again. The three angels! Jacklyn, Farrah & Kate!

And this is Charlie! Or Bosley?

Now this is Charlie!

Very happy Angelette (and full).

Muralla: a three course meal, and everyone gets a bottle of wine each! Super starched linens and easily elegant service add up to modern chic dining!

Marissa, that's very expensive!

We'll just have salad and bread. Hahaha

And wine!

Happy Sidney.

I can finish it all!

Cheers!!! But where's the food? Did we order?

Did we order?!?! Where's the food???

Tipsy tipsy

Borlogs!

Fuego Negro is a true discovery when you're in San Sebastian. They serve traditional Basque pinxtos with a modern twist.

Love the plates on the wall.

Fuego Negro is a must when you're in San Se.

Cute!
