Malta! Malta!

Malta is a little hidden jewel on the Mediterrenean, now famous for being the location where they shot Brad Pitt's movie "Troy." It has all the charm of a little traditional European town. The world's largest Caravaggio in existence is in their main church, St. John's cathedral. There are 356 churches in this island nation, one for every day of the year. The food is influenced by Italy and the Arab world, so it is tasty and great after a whole day of sightseeing. Other references to Malta are the Maltese cross (made famous by Chanel and Verdura in their classic cuff), the Maltese Falcon (from the spy movie with Humphrey Bogart), and the knights of Malta, a religious fraternity.

Schoolchildren go to Cathlolic school that is why they are all in uniform.

Since the capital of Malta is Valletta, my bestie Angel and I pretended to be shalom Harlow and amber Valletta.

Rotunda of Mosta

Is that a giant bullet? Yes, during World War II, this cannon was shot into a church dome, but miraculously did not explode, saving hundreds of lives.

Food in Malta is to die for. Don't even think of cutting calories since you walk around so much anyway.
