Back in the 90s, Missy Elliot commanded: "Get your freak on." But, that was another time. Now, it is time to Cotton On. Born in Australia, but it blossomed in in the equally casual and cool shores of LA, Cotton On is a brand that combines easy basics and on-trend pieces. The spirit of the show was summed up by the infectious, boundless energy of the dancers and a banner that read Cotton On Class of 2012; rather than evoking the stress of midterm exams and other academic requirements, the feel was more of the camaraderie and carefree feel of school days.
The first Cotton On shop in the Philippines opened in SM Mall of Asia, and the second is in SM Megamall. In both openings, after the bright and bouncy show directed by the one and only Robby Carmona.
Popular pieces were the skinny leather trousers and sheer tops (seen snapped up by Lovi Poe), and the university jackets (Joseph Marco got one for himself) and the coloured chinos (Enchong Dee's personal picks).
